Having spent the day being bombarded with adverts telling me that Derren Brown was capable of winning the lottery every week but didn’t (or something) it occurred to me that I’d completely forgotten the more serious business of our own little prediction league.  Which was supposed to be all ready and raring to go for this weekend.  So after falling asleep in the bath and missing 4 out of England’s 5 goals it’s just about time for me to get my backside in gear.

You may remember a few weeks ago I announced a dry run of the prediction league, well, surprise surprise, it worked first time and now it’s time to hit the big time.

So, this is how it works.

1. Each week we will publish four fixtures
2. you guess, erm, use your skills and knowledge to work out what the scores will be
